I turned 50 today!!

It's hard to believe I'm 50 today. I am so Thankful that my Heavenly Father, my Yahweh, has blessed me with those years, good health, a wonderful Family and great friends and most of all, a Great Savior!!! I am indeed the worst sinner I know of and in need of a Great Savior!!! To use a football analogy, I'm at half-time in my life. The first half was not always spent in a way which pleases the Master. In fact, pretty much all of the first quarter and a great deal of the second had a few successes but more failures than successes. I sure did fumble the football a lot and threw a lot of interceptions. I missed the first down marker and hardly ever made a TD. My Yahweh has seen me through all of that, forgiven me and has chosen and seen fit to give me hopefully many more years ahead of which I am going to call the second half of my game of life. Now...Let's see what I can do with it. With my Yahweh's help, I will have more spiritual successes than failures. With His help and empowering, I will hold onto the football more tightly and throw more completions for first downs and maybe a touchdown or two. I am looking forward with great anticipation to the years ahead and what great things He has in store for me. What a mighty Yahweh I serve!!
